In St. Paul... looks like I'll have to add / rename some labels after all AND change the name of my blog... Goodbye Minneapolis, Hello St. Paul! This isn't our dream home, and we'll need to work on certain areas, especially the unfinished basement, but it's the best house for the price that we've seen. The house had only been on the market for ONE day, we scheduled a viewing for yesterday morning and decided to put an offer in immediately, since the listing agent mentioned they had a few more showings and at that price point, the house was bound to go quickly.
The listing says 4 bed / 2 bath, but it's really more like 3 bedrooms, the 4th room is tiny and more of a sun room. There's a detached two car garage, and a small fenced-in backyard. Our offer has been accepted, and we're having an inspection done on Monday. So if that goes well, we can start our financing process, and hopefully we can close by mid-January. Yippee!
