Happy Labor Day


Some flowers from around the neighborhood. No clue what they are, except for the sunflowers.

This crazy plant has fruit that almost look like miniature rambutans. It's a castor bean/oil plant, which despite its name, is not a bean. The seeds are the source of castor oil, but also contain ricin, which is a toxin! Probably shouldn't be planted in a community garden, hmmm.
These are everywhere, I love the green / pink fade. These are Autumn Joy Sedum, I'm told!

Love the texture of the dead vine, which was the exact color of the brick wall!
